Minor Piercings Policy 13 and up!
Eligibility for Minor Piercings
We offer piercing services to minors aged 13 and older, provided that they receive parental consent.
Required Documentation
· Identification: A State or Government-issued ID for the minor is required. Alternatively, a school ID is also acceptable for identification purposes.
· Birth Certificate: The minor's birth certificate must be presented. However, if the address and last name on both the minor's and parent's IDs match, the birth certificate is not necessary.
Parental Presence and Identification
A parent listed on the birth certificate must be present during the piercing appointment and must provide appropriate identification.
Ear Lobe Piercing Policy for Minors
Eligibility and Consent Requirements
We offer ear lobe piercings for children who are at least 10 years old and can verbally express their desire to have the procedure done. It is essential that the child clearly communicates their wish for the piercings before we proceed.
Required Documentation
In compliance with regulations set by the state of Colorado and the El Paso County Health Department, we require the following documentation before performing any piercing on a minor:
· Child’s identification and birth certificate
· Parent’s identification
Minor’s Right to Withdraw
The minor’s comfort and consent are our top priorities. If at any point the minor chooses not to continue with the procedure, we will immediately halt the process to respect their decision.
Tattoos on minors
16 and up with parental consent! You will need a state or Government ID, and birth certificate with parent, also requiring proper ID.
A birth certificate is not needed if the address and last name on the ID's are the same.
